Top 5 Ice Machine Rental in Cincinnati, OH

Bottleless Nation does water and ice machines for businesses all over the country. They are located in West Chester Township and service Cincinnati. They were the only company listed here that offers a biannual service call on all ice machines and gave us a turnaround time, which is 2 days or less. No one else that rents out ice machines in this area listed Scotsman. They also service Covington and Newport across the river. Only one other company listed Northern Kentucky cities. We were unable to find if repairs are included with your monthly payment. So we would ask how much it would cost if you had to be serviced in between those calls.

Culligan Quench is Culligan's branch that provides water to the workplace. They offer water coolers, ice makers and coffee makers to businesses in 20 different counties in Ohio. They are the only company on our list that offers ice bagging machines, and they have the largest amount of ice produced per day of any company on our list. They are also the only company that lists their contract length, which is month to month, and the only company that says if your machine wears out you will not be charged for repairs, just your monthly payment. We would recommend getting the monthly price and install in writing before they install the unit.

Aramark Refreshments offers coffee, vending and micro market services to businesses. They offer ice and water dispensers from their location in West Chester Township. There are many towns listed that they service, some in Northern KY as well. None of the other companies we found offered to provide snacks and vending machine services as well. We were unable to find what their lease term is. Since they have multiple services to offer, we would ask if the ice machine will be serviced during your coffee runs or separately.

Aqua Hydration Solutions is a local family-owned business that rents out plumbed-in water and ice machines to office buildings for a flat monthly rate. Out of all the local businesses we found, this was the only one that solely sells water and ice. They are also a Hoshizaki dealer, which is the only ice machine company that any of these rental companies will tell you they are a dealer for. None had more brands of ice machines than they did. They also offer a free trial period. We were unable to find when they started their business or what their response time may be. You should ask them how often they will do maintenance and who pays if your machine breaks down in the meantime.

Otis Refrigeration is a family-owned business that provides refrigeration and HVAC services near Lunken Airport. Ice machines are one of many types of commercial kitchen equipment they have available to rent, sell and service. Otis has been around since 1935, making them at least 20 years older than any other rental company we found in this area. They also have a 24-hour emergency line, which no one else does. Expect to pay overtime charges if you call after hours, and you will most likely be charged for travel from their location to yours. Otis is the only company that offers lease-to-own. We were unable to determine what machines are eligible for lease-to-own or if they even carry ice machines. We would recommend asking them if your machine is eligible for lease-to-own before comparing it to a rental.
