Top 5 Ice Machine Rental in Dallas, TX

C&W Appliance Service is a Dallas appliance repair company that runs commercial ice machine rental as a separate commercial arm. They are one of two companies in this metro that will send a temporary machine while yours is being fixed, rather than leaving you to buy bagged ice. And they put a number on the repair, promising a 24 to 48 hour turnaround on most jobs. Their monthly rate folds in installation, repairs and maintenance, which is common enough here. Their contract terms are not. They will go month to month instead of holding you to a fixed term. But we did not find a published capacity range, so machine sizes stay unknown until you call. Because their posted hours end at seven in the evening, we recommend you ask whether the emergency line is answered after that.

Perks + Provisions is a Carrollton breakroom services company that places ice machines on office and clinic routes alongside coffee and water. Their flat monthly rate covers installation, service, sanitation and parts, and they are the only company we checked in this metro that also names filter swaps inside that rate. The sanitation runs quarterly and comes with written inspection records, which matters if an auditor ever asks how the ice was handled. And they size the machine to headcount too, so a 200 person office is not sold the same unit as a 50 person one. But ice is one line among six here, and we found no contract length and no starting rate published anywhere. Get both in writing before the first delivery.

Texas Ice Machine Company is a Dallas ice machine dealer and service house that has rented, sold and repaired these units since 1951, longer than anyone else we checked in this metro. They are also the only company here that publishes a monthly starting price rather than holding it back for a quote, at eighty eight dollars. But they publish a second figure of ninety nine dollars as well, so treat the lower one as a rough floor and not a rate. Ice is the trade here rather than a line added to refrigeration or breakroom work, and their own technicians are factory trained and file warranty claims directly. They state no capacity range, no response window and no after hours cover. We would advise confirming which of the two figures applies to the machine you want.

Easy Ice is a national ice machine fleet that works Dallas out of a Fort Worth distribution facility, placing machines on a monthly subscription. They ask for no time commitment at all, and thirty days notice ends the arrangement. Only one other company we checked here will also go month to month. They also publish what the subscription does not cover, not just what it does. One caution. Their breakdown promise sends bagged ice while a machine is down, not a replacement machine, so a busy kitchen still goes without machine ice for the duration. And we could not find a stated response time for Dallas. Ask how fast a technician reaches your address before you sign.

Shepherd Food Equipment is a Dallas foodservice equipment dealer that has fitted out commercial kitchens since 1987 and leases through an in house department. Their factory trained technicians are on call around the clock, and no other company we checked in this metro publishes a round the clock line. They are also the only one here offering a buyout when the term ends, either for a dollar or at ten percent of cost. But the lease is a whole kitchen facility that ice machines happen to fall under, not an ice program in itself. They publish no monthly rate, no term length and nothing specific to renting an ice machine, which makes them the hardest company here to compare before you call. We would ask exactly what the lease covers on an ice machine.
