Top 5 Ice Machine Leasing in Houston, TX

Coolers Inc has been around since 1967 providing ice machine service to the restaurant's of Houston. They are still family owned and are the only company we found that offered a monthly starting price on their website. They also list more cities around the Houston area than any other company we came across. If you have a second location outside of Katy this could be a plus. They offer delivery, install and clean with their monthly price. It does not state if repairs are included with this price and they do offer maintenance plans as well. So make sure you know the difference. You should ask how much your price will increase after the 3 year replacement.

Arrow Ice has been operating one location in South Houston since 1997. They specialize in ice machines and have it as their main line of business. They were the only company we could confirm on the south east side of the metro area. Which would put them near the ship channel and refineries in Pasadena. Since they are a preferred warranty service company for three of the companies they lease from you will not have to make another call if your machine breaks down under warranty. There was no pricing listed and most leases state that maintenance is included. Make sure you ask what type of lease you are getting.

Astro Vending and Coffee Services has served Houston offices since 1993. They have one location in North West Houston that they operate their coffee, water and vending as well as a small ice line from. Most companies in this area offer install clean and repair at a flat monthly rate so Astro does as well. What they offered that no other company we looked at offered was if their machine is air cooled or not. They also offer a short term lease which none of the others will. Their ice offering is limited to one counter top unit. We were unable to find how much ice that unit produces per day only the size of the bin it holds. You should ask them how much ice they can produce during a lunch rush.

Warren Ice Machine Co. rents out commercial ice machines from their shop on Fairview Street in NW Houston. They only do rental, it's not just a category on their refrigeration list. Many rental companies will include service with their monthly price. Very few will tell you what they included but these guys include 2 filter changes a year and preventive maintenance 2 times a year with no cost to repair. Since they only sell one brand they don't have as many machines as other companies in the Houston area. We were unable to find out how long they have been in business. Which can be a concern if you're going off of experience. You must ask them how long they have been selling Ice-O-Matic.

Texas Office Coffee is based on Garrow Street in the East End and they provide break room services for local businesses. They have ice machines listed to rent with their coffee. Since they are located east of downtown they were our closest option to the warehouses and office parks in that area. There are not many options when you get out that far. They only carry two ice machines and both are made by the same company. Output is low but would be fine for a break room. We were able to confirm that they do offer rentals on their website under the product. Which some of the other refrigeration companies we looked at didn't have. No info on length of contract or how long they've been in business. We suggest you ask when you call them.
