Top 3 Ice Machine Rental in Tampa, FL

Crystal Ice Machine Services has leased and serviced commercial ice machines out of Clearwater since 1992, and ice is the only line they have ever run. They publish more of their pricing than anyone else we checked here, and not only the lease rate. A cleaning, a diagnostic visit and a major repair each carry a listed figure before you call. They stock four brands, twice what either of the others carries, and they are the only company here putting a contract term in writing. Their lease folds the cleanings in too, which is rarer than it sounds. But we did not find a capacity range anywhere, so the machine itself is the one thing you cannot size from what they publish. We recommend you ask what the two month deposit covers if you cancel inside the first year.

The Ice Doctors by S&W Refrigeration is the ice arm of a Tampa refrigeration company that has traded since 1997. Their lease rate card is the most detailed we found in this metro, split into eight tiers by capacity and priced by which ice you want. They are also the only company here that we found publishing machine style, daily output and whether the condenser is air or water cooled. Enough to size a machine before anyone visits. Installation, all repairs and a round the clock support line sit inside the monthly figure. But the four to five cleanings a year do not, and lease customers get a preferred rate on those rather than a free visit. So treat the headline rate as a repair rate, not an everything rate, and get the cleaning quoted alongside it.

Al's Ice Machine Rentals is a Clearwater shop that has rented and repaired commercial ice machines since 2005. They are the only company here promising a response window, and two hours for rental customers is a short one. They also rent short term, which neither of the others offers, and their smallest machine starts at 100 pounds a day, well under where anyone else begins. Installation comes at no extra charge. But almost nothing else is published. We found no rate, no contract terms, and only one ice type, which we could confirm from a published photo and nowhere else. Because of that, we suggest getting the monthly figure and the ice type confirmed on the first call.
